Stripes in the Spring

Today I thought it would be fun to take one of my classic all-time favorite looks, stripes, and come up with three new and "updated" ways to wear them this spring. I know for many of you the thought of spring is a little crazy right now, especially because we still have over a month of winter left, but we've been having significantly warmer {and extremely pretty} days here in LA lately.. I'm talking mid to upper 70s, people. Lots of sunshine, crisp mornings, you get the idea. But I digress! Even though I'm just as happy pairing my striped sweaters, cardigans, and tees {yes, I have variations of all three} with black skinnies and ballet flats, it's always fun to mix it up now and then.

So whether it's pairing a striped sweater with scalloped shorts and flats for a flirty look, flaunting your stripes in maxi skirt form with a loose top and booties for a more laidback feel, or wearing a structured blazer with boyfriend jeans and chic wedges.. this just goes to show there are so many ways to wear stripes. Which is exactly why they're my favorite!
