Looking Forward

Happy New Year!!! 

I don't know if I want to set specific resolutions, because they never seem to last me throughout the year and I usually end up forgetting about them or tweaking them as I go along.. and I don't think that's the way they're supposed to work. Instead, I thought I'd set little goals for myself that I can try to keep up with -- nothing too major or life-changing, but just little things here and there that I've been meaning to do anyways. There's just something about a fresh start that always motivates and inspires me!

Read 2 books each month 

{maybe more when I'm not in school with a pile of required reading already weighing me down}

Try 1 new recipe each month

{I tend to stick to my tried and true favorites, but I've really been wanting to branch out}

Take at least 1 mini-trip this year

{I don't travel nearly enough within my own state and/or country}

Be more decisive

{maybe this one's more of a resolution, but I can be SO indecisive with small insignificant things!}

Take more photos, especially for this little blog

{I always tell myself this, then get caught up in whatever I'm doing and forget to document it}

Keep a journal to capture moments big and small
{I know the blog already sorta serves this purpose, but I've always loved having a physical journal}

Get out there and network a whole lot more
{this one's important since I will possibly be job hunting at some point}


I think my list is pretty doable and I hope I can stick to it! You know I'll be keeping track on here every step of the way. As always, thank you so much for reading, following, and commenting.
